We saw some Fallow deer for sale one day in the paper and thought why not? We have some land and love wildlife and thought it would be a fun little venture. That is how our little farm came to be known as 'Fallow Field Farm'. I have had a vision for awhile of the kind of craft show I would love to have at my home. After some serious thought I came up with all of the elements that would be important to me. First of all everything needs to be handmade or have that handmade touch. If two hands were involved in the creative process than I'm good with that...as well as a few antiques thrown in here and there. Antiques are an important part of my life and the life we've made here. They are the history of us and where we came from. When you come to our little show I want you to feel like you are a part of something special. Something that you don't find in our neck of the woods. I want everyone that comes here to feel at home. Our vendors are hand picked by me and are just 'good people'. So whether you are a vendor or a customer please know that we are so glad that you are here!
I'm Marci and this is Dave.
We bought this little piece of heaven about 12 yrs ago and have
put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into making it what it is today.
And we have lots of projects still in the works!!
We are in the middle of a play house remodel and that big red
tarp behind the lilacs...that houses the cabin.
We took down a cabin log by log
from the Ft. Bridger, Wyoming
from the Ft. Bridger, Wyoming
area and brought it here to reassemble.
Just like lincoln logs!
Hopefully we'll get to do that in the next
year or so. My sweet husband is also going
to be starting on my greenhouse hopefully sometime
soon. So we're always busy and always
looking for great old stuff to make our little farm a little funner!
